Klutta Privacy Policy

Klutta helps a household catalog what is stored in its boxes. This policy explains what the app collects and why.

What we collect

• Account identity. When you sign in with Google we store an opaque account identifier and your email address to operate your account. Your email is never sent to our error-monitoring tools.
• Catalog data you create. Room names, box names, and item names you add are stored so your household can search them. This content is never sent to our error-monitoring tools.
• Crash and diagnostic data. We use Sentry to record crashes, errors, and performance traces. These reports include device and OS information, app version, and an opaque app user identifier — but no photos, no catalog content, and no email.

Photos

A photo you take for an AI scan is sent for recognition and discarded immediately afterward. We store only the extracted item names — never the photo itself.

Data we do not collect

We do not sell your data, and we do not include photos, catalog content, search text, or your email in any crash or diagnostic report.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from the app's Account tab. Deleting your account permanently removes your account identity (including your email) and signs you out on every device. If you are the last member of your household, the household's entire catalog — rooms, boxes, and items — and its invite links are permanently deleted as well; if other members remain, the shared catalog stays with them. You can also leave a household without deleting your account, and delete individual items, boxes, or rooms from the catalog. Deleted data is removed from our database and cannot be recovered.
